Position Overview:
Our team is currently looking for a QA Inspector for a client in the Motorsports Industry, Honda Racing Corp.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties:
- Responsibilities include inspection equipment and components to ensuring that the parts either meets or fails drawing specifications.
- Utilize tolerance measurement tools, GD&T standards for components within design qualifications. Validate result output.
Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints, knowledge of dimension tolerancing, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Knowledge of universal inspection tools, comparator, surface roughness, material analysis and manual inspection & surface plate techniques.
- Knowledge of raw material specifications.
- PC and software skills for planning, reporting and activity tracking, use of Microsoft Office – Word & Excel. Inventory software and data management software a plus.
- Math skills to interpret and calculate results.
- Knowledge of Machine tool programming.
- Optical scanning systems preferred.
- Previous programming CAD / CAM experience a plus.
- Knowledge of geometry and trigonometry principles.
- Some machine shop technology and tooling coursework a plus.

- Ability to work in team environment.
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively interface with various personality types.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with CMM software program prismatic parts using scanning probe head preferred. Calypso Highly desirable.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Working Condition:
- Santa Clarita, California; on-site
- Relocation offered.
- One-year contract w/possible extension/direct hire
