Our team is currently looking for an

Electrical Design Engineer

in

Valencia, CA with a focus on electrical systems for a client in the Motorsports Industry.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

• Support the development of advanced electrical systems and components
• This role is hands?on and highly collaborative, involving design work, prototyping, assembly trials, vendor engagement, and close coordination with cross?functional teams.
• Design and develop electrical components and subsystems, including 3D/ 2D modeling, wire harnesses, and high?voltage components.
• Perform engineering calculations and ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturing targets.
• Support assembly and manufacturing trials; collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, and documentation; support DFM reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide timely updates, and support project deadlines
• Participate in cross?functional meetings and contribute to technical problem?solving.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of electrical design engineering experience, preferably in automotive, motorsports, or aerospace.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 or 3D experience.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 3–5+ years of electrical design engineering experience in high?voltage systems, wire harness design, and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret drawings, create BOMs, and perform tolerance stack?ups.
• Strong communication and problem?solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for vendor visits, testing, or track support.

Working Condition:

• Location: Onsite in Valencia, CA
• Relocation offered (if 60+ miles from site)
• Rolling 1-year contract to potential direct hire
• Pay Range: $40-55/hr. (plus per diem for travel)
