Our client, a global leading provider in the Energy industry, is looking to appoint a successful Assets and stocks Officer to be based in Maputo.
ACTIVITIES
• Labeling, recording and maintaining fixed assets in assets management tool
• Conduct physical verification and reconciliation of assets, stationery, groceries, cellphone and accessories
• Processing proposals for the write-off of expired, obsolete or stolen assets or goods
• Overseeing the receipt, storage and distribution of stock items
• Conduct regular inventory checks to identify discrepancies and report shortages or excesses
• Compiling and submitting reports on company assets and inventory to management
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily based at the Maputo office, with duties in the Pemba office and on-site as needed.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED

• Experience in investment management, financial services, or specific asset classes (equities, fixed income, real estate) is highly valued.
