Our client, a leading provider in the Poultry industry, is looking to appoint a successful Administrative and Financial Coordinator to be based in Afungi.

ACTIVITIES

•    Advanced Excel skills (including complex formulas) for creating decision-support tools.

•    Proven experience in preparing bank reconciliations.

•    Proven experience in conducting financial audits.

•    Coordinate and oversee all administrative and financial operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.

•    Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial reports to support management decision-making.

•    Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

•    Manage accounts receivable and payable, including reconciliations with clients and suppliers.

•    Ensure compliance with Mozambican tax legislation and timely submission of suggestive fiscal obligations.

•    Lead and support internal and external financial audits.

•    Develop Excel-based financial tools and dashboards to support strategic planning.

•    Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial and administrative records.

•    Support management with financial analysis and operational reporting.

•    Ensure high standards of ethics, confidentiality, and internal controls.

•    Proven experience in reconciling customer and supplier accounts.

•    Proven experience in tax legislation.

REQUIREMENTS

•    Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, Accounting, Auditing, or related fields;

•    Knowledge of accounting and taxation in Mozambique;

•    Proficiency in IT tools;

•    Strong organizational skills, ethics, and confidentiality;

•    Fluency (spoken and written) in Portuguese and English.
