Our client, a global market leader in providing industrial electric, controls and automation systems to several industries, is looking to hire a number of Field Service Engineers to supplement their experienced workforce.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years technical services, field, or customer support engineering experience with AC and DC Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) in an industrial environment – preferably in Paper Mill, Metal Rolling or associated industries.

Technically, you will have legacy AC and DC VFD engineering experience, including AC/DC2000, AV/DC300, Innovation Series, and T250 systems.

You will also have Controls engineering experience with LAN topologies and industrial communication protocols, including ISBUS, Profibus, Modbus, EGD, DeviceNet, TC-net, MELPAC, and TOSLINE.

An Engineering Degree is required.

The role will involve extensive domestic & international travel to client sites, so flexibility and a desire to spend time away from home are required.
