Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Overview

This is a senior-level position for a DevOps Engineer with extensive experience. The ideal candidate will be a US Citizen with a background in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and possess the initiative to quickly learn new tools and concepts.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties

The role involves designing and implementing DevSecOps pipelines, supporting and troubleshooting various operating systems, and working within an Agile/Scrum environment. The candidate will also be responsible for leveraging a wide range of DevOps tools and services from the Atlassian Suite and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Qualifications (Education, Experience & Skills)

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 12 years of technical experience, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Experience: A minimum of 12 years of technical experience, including significant work with DevSecOps pipelines, common DevOps tools, and cloud services (AWS).

• Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Go.

  • Expertise with AWS services (VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Desired skills include experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and configuration management (Ansible).

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
