Our client, a major O&G Operator located in the Greater Houston area is looking to hire a Contact Electrical Field Engineer.

The role will be to support several sites located in the US. Whilst the primary location will be Greater Houston, the position will involve extensive domestic travel (fully expensed).

The work scope will require the individual to review and validate all existing electrical drawings located at site (Pipeline pump stations / meter stations / satellite sites). This will include incoming power “medium voltage to low voltage” verification and PLC low voltage verifications. The individual will also visually check junction boxes, pull boxes, PLC Cabinets, power boxes (disconnects/MCC enclosure, etc.), and switch gear for proper labeling and identification.

The individual will also make any adjustments and tag each enclosure and verify /tag existing pipe runs and wire runs.

For the drawings, pipe and wire runs will include proper identification/ labeling.

The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years relevant industry experience, a qualified electrician with field/site experience within the Oil & Gas sector.

Must have the ability to work under minimal supervision, and have the flexibility to travel at short notice.

This is 12 month renewable contract with an option to extend.
