Our client, a global leading provider in the Energy industry, is looking to appoint a successful Travel Supervisor to be based in Maputo.
JOB DIMENSIONS
• The position will assume a central role ensuring the development of a “One General Services team” by Supervise all the activities related to Travelers, accommodation: Managing Data for Reporting purposes.
• The position will report directly to the General Services Lead.
• This position is on a 40 hour / week schedule Monday – Friday.
ACTIVITIES
• Knowledge user for DaWinci travel system;
• Charter flight bookings in DaWinci;
• Domestic and international flight bookings and accommodation requests;
• Provide guidance and assistance on complex and/or large travel requests;
• Contribute to the development of processes and procedures;
• Act as backup for travel coordinator and assistants;
• Liaise with vendor regarding problems with system or upgrades;
• First level troubleshooting of external data source integration issues;
• Drive continuous improvement of travel programs;
• Help with Accommodation Procedures and POB management;
• Review travel associated invoices as well as statements for accuracy;
• Liaise with Accounts payable team ensuring invoice settlement and payment confirmation is done on time;
• Produce reports on number of travelers per cost center, tickets issued and any other required report;
• Supervisor and Coordinate Travel & Accommodation Activities and Team work;
• Liaise with Travel Service Provider;
Ensure travel and accommodation is done as per the company Travel policy and cost effective;
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
• In-depth knowledge of International and Domestic travel services.
• Excellent communication and people skills as interactions will be at all organizational levels.
• Strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction, as well as experience in managing vendor relationships
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationship with clients.
• Possess good time keeping and organizational skills.
• Must speak, read and write English and Portuguese fluently.
• Problem solving skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• Applicable Degree with a strong business management knowledge.
