JOB TITLE: Senior Project Manager – Waste Management & Fleet Operations
LOCATION: Pemba/Temane

Our client is a provider of waste management for oil & gas, is looking to appoint a successful Senior Project
Manager to be based in Pemba/Temane.

• Develop and oversee project plans and timelines for waste management operations.
• Ensure all activities are executed in line with agreed schedules and operational targets.
Waste Management Operations
• Coordinate all waste management services, including collection, transportation, and disposal.
• Ensure proper storage of waste in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Manage and verify waste manifests and documentation.
Fleet Management
• Allocate specific fleet resources to waste management tasks.
• Monitor fleet availability and utilization using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Ensure optimal deployment and readiness of vehicles for operational needs.
Reporting & Administration
• Maintain accurate operational and administrative records.
• Prepare regular reports using Manual (or specified reporting systems/tools).
• Track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Client Liaison
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
• Provide updates on project progress and service delivery
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within waste management or logistics.
• Experience working with fleet management systems, ideally D365.
• Strong understanding of waste handling, storage, and compliance requirements.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Attention to detail and compliance focus
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in reporting and administrative systems

PORPUSE OF ROLE:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of wastemanagement operations from ‘Collection to Facilities to Disposal’. This role ensures efficient fleet utilization,
compliance with waste handling procedures, accurate reporting, and strong client relationships.
ACTIVITIES

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Logistics, Environmental Management, or related field.• Proven experience in project management, preferably within waste management or logistics.
• Experience working with fleet management systems, ideally D365.
• Strong understanding of waste handling, storage, and compliance requirements.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
