Our client, a global leading int the Construction industry, is looking to appoint a RFI Inspector to be based in Afungi.
• Inspect and verify site-related RFIs to ensure alignment with project drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and construction teams to resolve technical queries.
• Conduct site inspections where necessary to validate RFI requirements and responses.
• Ensure all RFI responses comply with project scope, safety standards, and contractual requirements.
• Track RFI status and follow up on pending clarifications to avoid project delays.
• Identify discrepancies, non-conformities, or risks and escalate when required.
• Maintain accurate records of RFIs, inspections, and supporting documentation.
• Support quality assurance and control processes by ensuring proper documentation flow.
• Proven experience in construction, QA/QC, inspection, or project engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Experience with RFI processes in large-scale projects (Oil & Gas experience is an advantage).
• Good knowledge of HSE and quality compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.

Job Purpose
The RFI Inspector is responsible for reviewing, validating, and verifying all Request for Information (RFI) submissions related to project execution. The role ensures that technical clarifications, documentation, and field queries are accurate, compliant with project specifications, and properly addressed to avoid delays and rework.ACTIVITIES

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.• Proven experience in construction, QA/QC, inspection, or project engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Experience with RFI processes in large-scale projects (Oil & Gas experience is an advantage).
