Our client, a leading global provider in the Construction industry, is looking to appoint a successful Marine Foreman to based in Afungi.
• The Marine Piling Foreman supervises and coordinates piling activities for marine construction projects;
• Installation of piles and poles for structures such as jetties, piers, and marine platforms;
• Oversees piling crews, ensures correct positioning and driving of piles according to engineering specifications;
• Coordinates daily operations with crane operators, barge crews, and marine equipment teams;
• Ensures compliance with project schedules and enforces strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards while monitoring the quality, alignment, and depth of installed piles.
• Technical diploma or training in Civil Engineering, Marine Construction, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with experience in marine piling or pile driving operations.
• Proven experience supervising crews involved in installing piles and poles.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand piling specifications.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices in marine or heavy construction environments.
• Experience working with cranes, piling rigs, barges, and marine equipment is an advantage.
